It can be a challenge to see Sub-floor damage wether is in the form of rot or unevenness. However if you feel softness or an area that seems unleveled, you may have an area that needs attention. Over the years rotted sub-flooring has been one of the leading causes of kitchen floor damage. Maybe due to previous water leak, same with restroom areas. If left unattended-water damaged areas only grow in the surrounding area, let alone the growth of mold and mildew risk. If you have areas like this that concern you in your home to be accessed, please feel free to call or reach out to us through our contact link.

Ok a little bit of a rant, I get about 10-15 of these Spam or Robo calls , whatever you may call them a day. Please understand if I happen to be busy on a job site and opt not to answer the phone. I can't tell you how often I put down my tools and stop my job just to get a sales call or worse yet, silence. So if you could be so kind realize that I absolutely will return business related calls almost immediately if you are in need of our services. In the 3 minutes it took to post this I received 2 of such calls, seriously.

Ok I'm done,

Thanks for your understanding.

Here's a quick tip for you if your Carpet has gotten wet from Water. If the Water came from the outside or even the inside, The first and most important thing to do is getting it dried out asap, this can save your Carpet 9 times out of 10 and you may be able to save the padding underneath the Carpet as well and simply only need to Re-Install the Carpet. Most times it is necessary to replace the padding to prevent mold and odors simply because a Carpet cleaning will not clean as deep as into the padding.

What you won't hear most Carpet Cleaning Company's say is, you can clean your carpet's too often. Well since we here at CFR Clean and Repair Carpet, trust us, if you clean your Carpet more than once a year, you are damaging the backing of your carpet. The backing of most all Carpet is made using latex to hold everything together, and like chewing gum, if your carpet gets to wet, to often, it will begin to break the "latex" backing down. Simply put, getting your Carpets cleaned is absoultly important for the life of your Carpet, but over cleaning them is absolutly not benificial. And before you ask, No, it does not matter if you use the "dry" method, which actually tends to be harder on the fibers.  ...

Just a quick note that may save you some time. If you are requesting your Carpet to be patched, we will need you to provide the Carpet. If you have a scrap piece or a left over section of matching Carpet, or even a closet or a place we could take it from. Any of these options will work. It is impossible for us to find any matching material. Hope this is helpful.
